UniformAmersham School is committed to ensuring that parents and carers can purchase the school uniform easily and at competitive prices. Many of the basic items such as shirts/blouses and trousers can be purchased from any uniform supplier including many supermarkets. Our preferred supplier for the main uniform is Wheatleys, 53 Sycamore Road, Amersham HP6 5EQ – 01494 726310. They can supply all the uniform including blazer and badges and the official school tie which should be worn by all boys in Years 7 – 11. Hawkinsport are the supplier of our sports kit. They are at 38 Hill Avenue, Amersham HP6 5BW – 01494 433550. They also have a website – www.hawkinsport.co.uk. They have a large range of sizes in stock, however, some of the PE kit is personalised and takes a few days for the printing to be completed. Could you please ensure that your child conforms to the uniform code in every respect. Generally our students are making the right choices and the standard of appearance is good. However, should your child choose to wear a non-uniform item of clothing to school it will be confiscated and not returned until the Friday afternoon after 3.30pm. This includes coloured scarves, headbands, hoodies, fashion jackets, t-shirts, trainers, coloured gloves, coloured shoe laces, etc. Jewellery will not be returned until the end of term. It will be your child’s responsibility to collect the offending item of clothing or jewellery. Thank you for monitoring your child’s uniform and ensuring that they come to school dressed according to the uniform code.
