Latest newsAmersham in the NewsOlympic Sports Awards Dinner : 3rd May 2013 This special event saw us honour the effort, commitment and achievement of our athletes. Furthermore we raised close to £4,000 towards our Sports Hall fund through a magnificent blind auction, a rather wonderful raffle and a highly lucrative bar! It was a very special evening and I would like to thank Mr Hall and Mrs Teden for orchestrating the event.

Danish student in school On 22nd April 2013, Iben Nielsen in Year 8 brought her Danish cousin Anne into school to see how English schools differ to Danish ones. Here is her account of her day with us : My Day in Amersham School What a day. My visit to Amersham School was very positive.
Normally I go to a Danish school but for one day I got the opportunity to visit an English school. My name is Anne, I’m 11 years old and lice in Vejle, Denmark. I got to experience a day like an English student with my cousin Iben. An English school is very different from a Danish school. We don’t have uniforms in Denmark and I am happy about that because I like to wear my own clothes. We unfortunately don’t have a café in my school but I like the idea because you can sit with whoever you want. I also like the fact that the students move to the subject because in Denmark we are stuck in the same classroom almost the whole day. Thank you so much for giving me this fantastic impression of your school. And could I see myself in an English school? Yes I could! Thanks again from Anne
